VW ID. Buzz Camper Kit
A bed, storage and, if you want it, a kitchen, moulded for your ID. Buzz and installed at our shop near Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec. Nothing is screwed into the vehicle.
Which kit for your ID. Buzz
The Samhall, Hygge and Lya keep the same style and features from one vehicle to the next. But each kit is built for your ID. Buzz: everything is moulded to its shapes and dimensions to make the most of the space. So the choice comes down to how you travel.
All three models fit the ID. Buzz.
Each kit's price is on its page.

Years and versions
Every ID. Buzz works with our kits, whatever the version. The model is still young, so there aren't many years to check. It's also the electric vehicle on our list.
Not sure about your version? Write to us, we'll be happy to check with you.
Storage
Under the bed, every kit has four drawers, plus fixed units along the sides, for dishes, food, toiletries, clothes and so on.
At the back, the ID. Buzz is different from other minivans: it has no Stow 'n Go seats, so there's no storage well under the floor. But the sofa bed slides forward to free up the space at the back when you need it.

Installation and lead time
Installation is included in the price of the kit. We do it at our shop near Saint-Hyacinthe, and it takes about 2 hours. Plenty of customers drive for hours to get here, and in most cases, you come in and leave the same day with your kit installed.
The second-row and third-row seats need to be removed before your appointment.
The lead time is usually 4 to 6 weeks after you order. It's an estimate, and we set the installation date with you. Each kit is built for your vehicle, so we don't keep any in stock.
For the ID. Buzz, the deposit is $2,500, whatever the model. It confirms your order and books your spot in production.
See a kit in person
We welcome you by appointment at our shop. Our demo Samhall is installed in a Dodge Grand Caravan or a 2021 or newer Toyota Sienna, depending on the time. It's the same Samhall style as in an ID. Buzz, but designed and moulded for another vehicle. You can sit on the sofa, see it as a bed and try the kitchen.

ID. Buzz camper questions

Yes. Nothing is screwed into the vehicle, and the installation doesn't alter it in any way. The kit can be taken out and put back when needed, even though it isn't meant to come out every weekend.
In the ID. Buzz, the second-row and third-row seats come out for the installation. After that, the second-row passenger-side seat goes back in easily, even with the kitchen: that gives you three seats. For a fourth, the kitchen comes out and the seat behind the driver goes back in too. Since the ID. Buzz has no Stow 'n Go seats, the seats you put back stay in place for the trip: there's nowhere to store them on the road.
The Samhall and the Hygge have a drawer built for a 40-litre portable fridge. We sell a dual-zone one we like. If you already have yours, send us the model and we'll check it for your ID. Buzz.
